Andermatt Swiss Alps apartments and penthouses are not affected by the Second Homes Act (Lex Weber). Moreover, Andermatt is the only Alpine destination in Switzerland that is completely exempt from Lex Koller . This means that foreign investors can acquire properties – and also resell them – without any limitations and make this unique village their home.

Uri’s maximum income tax rate is the second lowest in Switzerland and only about half as high as the tax rates in the UK, Germany, France and Italy, which puts Andermatt among the destinations where tax treatment is the most advantageous.
